2016 came in with a bang!

Welch's sparkling grape juice and some fun snacks. Ringing in the new year with my kids was exactly what I needed.  2016 is our year.

Branden got his braces off and we celebrated his 15th birthday.

Then Vivien turned 9.

Where is the time going?

Stay tuned....

2015-16 School year started quickly!

Jumping in with both feet.  School got started and work got busy for me so the traveling and fun having kind of died down and stayed local for a couple months.  Football started for Wayne and Branden.  Swim would start shortly after that.  Vivien couldn't wait.  Johnethen was in cheer 3 or more days a week and I was running around constantly!

My sister Hannah went with me and helped with school clothes and a stockpile of groceries for my kiddos.  We spent a super fun day with her shopping and laughing and good times!

Didn't take long for Wayne's birthday to roll around.  We celebrated at the bowling alley with most of his best friends.

With the beginning of school is also the beginning of fundraiser season.  So we had plenty of those.  Football wrapped up and swim and basketball took over.  Johnethen & Branden played basketball and Wayne & Viv did swimming.  Wayne also managed Branden's team as well as the varsity team.  We were busy to say the least.

I did my best to see Johnethen's basketball games, but I only saw a few.

Wayne went to several fall birthday parties of his friends and Johnethen went to many cheer competitions near & far.  I wasn't able to make it to many cheer events.

Before we knew it, the end of 2015 was there.  A whole nother year in the books...
After our OKC trip, we spent a while acclimating to life back home.  I also had to make an appointment to get new tires.
Johnethen was busy with cheer and basketball, Wayne had allstars and  Branden was finishing his babe ruth season and beginning the training and conditioning for football.  Vivien was just enjoying her summer.
We also were looking forward to the 13 yr old Babe Ruth World Series in Jamestown in August.  Wayne was signed up to be a bat boy and Johnethen was a press box runner.  A very exciting baseball filled week and a half at Dietrich Park in Jamestown.

We celebrated a successful week with a one night stay at Splash Lagoon in Erie PA.

School was right around the corner.  Our summer flew by.

Branden was looking forward to getting his braces off.

Summer was nearly over.

Time to go home

Leaving OKC was sad.  Love my OK family so much.  I wish I could see them more often.

We left early that morning.  the kids were excited to get home and get back to their friends and Wayne had baseball all stars.

We stopped in St. Louis and visited the Arch and the Courthouse Museum on the way.  We drove straight through to Terre Haute Indiana.  We got a room at the Comfort Inn (Pool & waffles) and we had dinner at the Texas Roadhouse.

We were exhausted.  Woke up early and drive straight through back home.  We went straight to game when we got home.  This is my life and I love it!

Where I left off!

Started Day 6 with a missing debit card in OKC.  Thankfully they had it in the box office at the ballpark.  That was nearly a terrible situation.

We wrapped up our vacation with a walking tour of Bricktown downtown OKC and had a blast!  We went for a ride in the canal and saw some great historical features of OKC.  (Someday I will post pictures)

We visited the Memorial Gardens and the OKC Memorial.

We visited the Sam Norman museum in Norman, OK.

Drove to Dallas to pick up my sister Shayna- She left on the night before I did.

We made time to take the kids to the pool, boys all went fishing, and we enjoyed some great local Mexican food and the home cooking of our OKC families.

The trip went way too fast, but we enjoyed every minute.

Well, that year flew by.

How did I go an entire year without posting my antics with my kids?  I will try to catch up!

Day 5- Let's go do something!!

Waking up in OKC to the smell of coffee brewing!  I love it!  Murle cooked us some sausage gravy, biscuits, eggs and some bacon & sausage.  We went to a sporting goods store and the Sam Noble museum.  Pics will be posted soon.  We took a little tour of Moore, OK.  We came home and had Lasagna for dinner and went down town to catch an OKC Dodgers game.  SO much fun!  The kids got autographs and Wayne got a foul ball.  They didn't win, but we had a great time.
